​Tell us a little about yourself:

Adam Pollard, I live in Mentone. Australia and I have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. I travelled Europe with a Nikon point and shoot just over a year ago... and I felt very limited... i couldn't capture what I saw. so then I bought my first Canon DSLR in January this year (2012). I have been photographing heavily since then.

Are you an amateur or a pro photographer?

I would say that I am a photo enthusiast at the moment. I'm not a pro, and I'm not an amateur. I have been teaching myself different techniques using youtube and speaking with other photographers in person and in forums online.
 

What do you like to photograph?

​I like to photograph Weddings, City Scapes and Landscapes. I really just like photographing things that I enjoy looking at... and using as many different techniques as I can.

What's your favorite lens?

hrmmm... probably my Canon 24-105mm L f/4 Lens. its the most versatile, and has great glass. it really depends on the situation, the Tokina wide angle takes some amazing landsapes, and the 100mm Macro has a beautiful result also...

Favourite Photographers are Mark Grey, Ken Duncan and Karl Taylor

 

​Which is your own favorite picture?

A beach landscape i took at my local beach in Mentone. I have had great feedback and love the outcome.

What is your dream?

​I hope to one day become a professional full time photographer. selling my own prints on canvas in my own gallery like Mark Grey in Mornington..
 

​Any advice or great tips to share?

Keep learning... don't get comfortable with your photography and just shoot what you know, take risks and change your perspective.
