​Tell us a little about yourself:

I am Quazi Nasim Ahmed from Bangladesh. But I am now studying my PhD in Malaysia. I have been involved in photography since April, 2012.​

Are you an amateur or a pro photographer?

I am an amateur photographer, and very much beginner, learning all the way long.
 

What do you like to photograph?

​I shoot Outdoor, Wildlife, Birds, Flora, Landscape, Nature, Street photography
 

​What is in your photography kit?

Nikon D5100 is my camera, Nikkor 18-55mm VR, Nikkor 55-300mm VRII, Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G, Raynox DCR 250 macro filter, Hoya CPL, Marumi ND8, Nikon SB700 flash, Weifeng Tripod, shutter release cable
 

What's your favorite lens?

Nikkor 50mm. I love this because it produces the sharpest pictures with great color and contrasts.

​Which is your own favorite picture?

One day I was trekking up Penang hill in Malaysia. It was raining and I had to stop under a shade, suddenly I saw one cyclist is coming down from the top of the hills. The mystic environment made the moment so special, luckily I was holding the camera ready for shoot with appropriate exposure. I took up my camera and shoot as he passed me. I was so happy to see the outcome in the display that the colors of the leafs and available lights made it so special.

What is your dream?

​What could be a photographer’s dream! Same here, learn and learn to reach the top. I have finalized my dreams. I made a plan for couple of years, need some savings like 10K USD! I need all the professional gears, and enter into the pro photography world and rule over.
 

​Any advice or great tips to share?

Take everyday as new learning in photography world.
