My name is Nadine Silva, I am from Padova, Italy and I'm a freelance lifestyle photographer. I started taking photos in 2008 and from then I never stopped..

​Are you an amateur or a pro photographer?

I think I am all of the above, if that can be considered.

 

What do you like to photograph?

​I absolutely adore the human face, I love taking photos of faces and expression in their natural and spontaneous way of being. I do wedding photography as well as lifestyle portraits of kids.

 

​What is in your photography kit?

I shoot Canon, I have a 7D but and when I work I use a 5D Mark ii, my lenses are: 28mm, 50mm and the 135mm, 24-70mm. Planning to get the 85mm soon.

 

What's your favorite lens?

Prime lenses

Oh so many! Jose Villa, Jasmine Star, Annie Leibovitz, and many more..

​Which is your own favorite picture?

Though question. One of the latest photos I took that moves me is Aeta Boy. It's an indegnous boy from the Philippines. I guess I simply love the way he looked at me, a bit scared but curious at the same time.

What is your dream?

​Being able to pursue photography as my main job, build a career out of it and grow my child in a good environment.
 

​Any advice or great tips to share?

Always remember aperture, ISO and shutter speed. If you are in doubt, take a picture. If you want to pursue photography seriously, invest in a good website layout, be patient and do your homework.
