Tell us a little about yourself:

Ewar Art (electronic-war of art). From: Vitoria – Gasteiz, small city in the Basque Country, north of Spain (Europe). Age: 36, Male.

Are you an amateur or a pro photographer?

Amateur/enthusiast: I have been interested in photography since I was a child. My father had a small photography studio in the basement where he revealed his own photographs and fondly remember those moments. Since then I waited the right time to introduce the fascinating world of photography. That time came around two years ago when I got my first initiation reflex, Canon EOS 1100D + 18-55mm and began to play around and learn a little a bit about photography. I try to spend any free time I get with my cam, reading, learning  watching any kind of photographs and trying to plan my next shots. Unfortunately my job does not allow to spend all the time I would like to lately.

What do you like to photograph?

Everything! I love singularity. Life goes by too fast. We lose too many special details and unique nuances. Photography allows us to capture it all with a single click and bring out that unique moment in detail and with a personal interpretation. Photography can express all kinds of feelings, from stark reality to pure beauty that surrounds us and goes unnoticed, from the simplest object to complex scene, from the tiny to the depth of a landscape. My goal is to feel watching a photograph. To feel and make others fell something, sadness, peace, calm, anger, enjoy the beauty, anger, everything but indifference.

One of my favorites pictures is “Lonely wait. It was a cold rainy day. The train station was empty but the person of picture and me. Watching this picture makes me fantasizing imagining different stories. I like the contrast between the wet bright pavement with diffuse reflections and dark railway zone and the deep of the geometry of the

lamppost and wires.

What is your dream?

My dream is that hunger disappears in our world, world peace, to respect all human beings. A better world for everyone.

Any advice or great tips to share?

I have to learn too much before any great tips. My modest advice is that everyone learn to walk by walking, learn to photograph photographing, shot, shot and shot!
