Tell us a little about yourself:

My name is Bosse Erichsen from Kiel,Germany. My interest in Photography is based on my girlfriend Fumiko I met her in Japan, she was an art student, and that was roughly a year ago.
She was so great and I learned so much from her in such a funny that I just couldn´t stop doing it ;)

Are you an amateur or a pro photographer?

I am a amateur but aiming to be pro. Actually this weekend will be decided if I study photography in Berlin ;P.

What do you like to photograph?

I love Street Photography, you know walking around the streets and trying to get that one shot, just black and white, simple but  without letting it look like a snapshot. People sometime don´t believe how hard that can be ^_^.

What is in your photography kit?

It´s just my canon 650d and 3 lenses(but always use the same ^^) and a tripod for the night shots

What's your favorite lens?

I love the canon 50mm f1.4 prime lens. It´s always on my camera and it even has the nickname "Fumiko" ^_^. WHY? As a street photographer I wanna be right in the action and when I have a zoom lens I always get seduced to zoom :) and stop walking around, missing shots....and that's just not good ;)

Any favorite photographer(s)?

Just one name....Henrie Cartier Bresson, I absolutely love his works

Which is your own favorite picture?

Probably,if it comes to street photography, the one I took from this Chinese exchange student. It´s not my best but my favorite because it was one of the first pictures i took with the 50mm and I totally had overblown it with light and it happens that this kinda became my style ^_^

What is your dream?

Being a pro and making money with what I love ;P

Any advice or great tips to share?

Slap bang obvious top tip of the week :D :
Street photography is about being different (but don't see it as a competition), look at other peoples pictures take your inspiration from them, than go on the streets and do your own thing. It is all up to you to be unique.
